In the fourth quarter of 2022, the leading social networking apps on iOS in Mexico displayed a range of performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insightful metrics for each application.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 288K in mid-November and generally hovering between 150K and 200K. Active users were consistently high, fluctuating slightly around the 5.8M mark throughout the quarter.

Facebook experienced notable weekly revenue, peaking at around $18.6K in mid-December. Downloads showed a significant increase, reaching a high of roughly 140K in mid-November, while weekly active users steadily grew from 16.1M to over 16.7M by the end of December.

Messenger had a steady download rate, with a notable peak of nearly 100K in the final week of December. Active users saw slight fluctuations but remained above 6M, ending the quarter at approximately 6.2M.

Telegram Messenger showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.9K in the last week of December. Downloads were consistent, with a high of about 60K in mid-December. The number of active users remained stable around the 600K mark.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily saw a decrease in downloads, starting at 64K in late September and dropping to around 20K by the end of December. Active users, however, increased from approximately 170K to over 192K during the same period.
